Revenue Manager

This role would be suitable for someone that is looking for their next challenge.

You should have a strong knowledge of reservations and an understanding of revenue management. This exciting opportunity would suit someone who can optimise and grow revenue within both rooms and meetings and events.

You will be responsible for the reception team and sales office offering your support and guidance on all enquiries from group and conference to golf breaks and weddings whilst encouraging and promoting a proactive sales culture. You will work alongside the General Manager and report to the Group Operations Director.

You are looking for your next step into revenue management. It would be an advantage to have a strong working knowledge of Opera or similar reservations systems.

Main duties include, but not limited to:

  • Analysing data and historical patterns
  • Daily, weekly & monthly tracking and rate settingForecasting & working with the finance team to set annual budgets
  • Forecasting & working with the finance team to set annual budgets
  • Inventory, pricing and TPI management
  • Competitor checks
  • PMS management
  • Sales, promotions and marketing including social media channels
  • Optimising Revenue throughout the hotel revenue streams
  • Identify new opportunities /increase LCRs and new distribution channels
  • Recruitment, training, implementing policies and procedures, quality management
  • Managing the reception, nights and sales office team

Food & Beverage Services Manager

As an F&B Services Manager, you are responsible for ensuring all aspects of the department operate efficiently to maximum profitability. As Food & Beverage Services Manager you will be financial responsibility for the departments, training and development of the team and ensure all service is of the highest quality. Our F&B Services Manager will set the service stands for all food & beverage service areas to exceed guest’s expectations. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Oversee and manage all F&B service operations.
  • Maintain exceptional levels of customer service.
  • Evaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Aware of trends and propose ideas to build the range and quality of F&B.
  • Optimise sales and contain costs, identifying any areas for action.
  • Set achievable budgets and other short- and long-term functional goals.
  • Provide effective leadership to the F&B service teams to ensure targets are met and exceeded both for the Hotel and individual development.
  • Ensure communication meetings are conducted and post-meeting minutes generated.
  • Manage staff performance issues in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Recruit, manage, train and develop the F&B service team.
  • Financial management to include; beverage stock control, beverage storage control, goods receiving, beverage monthly stock takes, assisting the head chef with costing of menus for restaurants & banqueting, relevant financial reports and achieving monthly beverage budgeted margins

Night Porter/Receptionist

A position has become available for a night porter/ Receptionist to help manage the hotel throughout the night. Duties will include but not limited to, security checks, checking guests in and out of the hotel, and general cleaning rotas. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar or hotel environment and have

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar or hotel environment and have bar and reception experience too. To be considered for this role you will have previous nights experience within a hotel environment and understand the importance of providing the highest level of service possible at all times.

Key Duties:

 Set clear and clean all conference rooms to an agreed standard

 Set private dinners and weddings to agreed standards

 Perform security procedures throughout your shift

 Mop and clean all areas of the hotel on a daily basis

 Look after guests within the hotel

 Answering incoming telephone calls

 Present a welcoming impression to all guests

 Provide 24-hour room service

 Provide 24-hour reception services

 Bar Service if required

 To ensure that a suitable method of payment for each guest account at the time of guest departure.

 To inform the duty manager of any irregularities and record and relay any guests comments that require management attention.

 Ensure that all checklists and procedures are completed.

 To handle any guest complaints or problems promptly and to ensure that all resolved and unresolved problems are reported to your Head of Department.

 To actively upsell any hotel facilities in order to maximise hotel revenue.

Kitchen Porter

Main Duties

The Kitchen Porter role involves a range of duties including; ensuring that all items of crockery, cutlery, kitchen surfaces and service equipment are kept clean and maintained in a hygienic condition, ready for use.

You will assist Kitchen and Food Service team members as required in order to ensure that our guests receive the highest standards of service.

Attention to detail is of paramount importance and you have a key role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly.

Hotel Receptionist

We are looking for a Hotel Receptionist who is passionate about providing a personal, guest-focused experience

to join our friendly Hotel Reception team

The role will involve making reservations, covering reception and reporting to the Front of House Manager. You will be expected to provide exceptional customer service in an efficient and professional manner at all times.

As Hotel Receptionist, your duties will be varied to include:

  • Welcoming guests and accurately completing all reception documentation
  • Answering the telephone in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring all calls are passed to the relevant department/persons when necessary
  • Taking reservations and entering bookings on to the hotel reservation system, up selling products where possible
  • Assisting guests with any queries throughout their stay and taking restaurant bookings
  • Checking guests in and out and ensuring bills are paid and receipted correctly, balancing cash and bills at the end of each shift
  • Daily banking of takings
  • Handling customer complaints promptly and professionally, demonstrating genuine customer care
  • Maximising potential sales opportunities by adding customer value at every opportunity.

To be considered for the role you MUST be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Proven experience of working as receptionist or reservationist within a hotel environment or have other proven customer service skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A team player who values honesty and integrity
